This month we will be adding some new classes to train with the Tour de France. A couple times a week we will be adding training stages in alignment with the routes. You will be required to take the free Matrix FTW before the class to determine your functional threshold wattage. If you already know your FTP, we can make an exception. Sign up for the series here
Tuesday July 7th at 6:30pm
Features Stage 3 Mur de Huy.
This is a threshold/Race Day Class that is 60 minutes. This ride looks more like a one-day classic profile than a normal early stage. It follows much the same route as the one-day Spring Classic, La Flèche Wallone. It features what has been called the longest kilometer in racing, the final ascent of the Mur de Huy, with gradients over 20%. Must
Friday, July 10th at 5:30pm
Features Stage 6 Abbeville/Le Havre.
This ride is a HIT, windy conditions simulation. This route is known for gusts of wind and can change the leaderboard. There are a few small climbs in the route but the crosswinds and head winds are what make this stage interesting.

Features Stage 10 Tarbes/La Pierre-Saint-Martin
This ride is a race simulation. The pace of this ride will be fast with cadences between 88 to 100 rpm. Even though this terrain seems pretty flat, it has an exceptional final climb… the La Pierre-Saint-Martin.

Features Stage 14 Rodez/Mende
This ride is a race simulation ride. It has two hilly sections with a long flat section in between them. It finishes with a Category 3, very steep climb.
Friday, July 24th at 5:30pm
Features Stage 18 Gap/ Saint-Jean-de-Maurienne
This is a race simulation ride. This ride begins with a hard category climb, a short downhill and flat road, followed by another climb, then a fast downhill and sprint to the finish.
